The department of civil engineering of University of Jiroft started its activity in the beginning of October 2013. The group currently has four faculty members and 206 students. Among the achievements of the department of civil engineering is the acceptance of graduates in prestigious university centers at the master's level. This group is ready to play an important role in local and national development by providing entrepreneurial and capable manpower by providing workshop facilities and utilizing the most equipped laboratory facilities such as welding, concrete technology, soil mechanics, materials resistance and fluid laboratories. It should be noted that this group now has the capacity to meet the laboratory and research needs of the markets outside the university in the context of the university-industry connections.
